About Whitefish, MT - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Whitefish is a beautiful northwestern Montana city positioned in Flathead County. The population of Whitefish was about 7,200 in 2016 according to the United State Census Bureau. It is the second largest city in Flathead County.

In the mid-1800s, explorers, traders, and trappers began arriving in the area of present-day Whitefish. These individuals paved the way for the establishment of many northwestern Montana cities. John Morton was the first individual to build a cabin along the shores of Whitefish Lake and settle permanently. Shortly after Morton settled, logging crews arrived in the area, further paving the way for future cities. In 1891, crews began laying track for the Great Northern Railway. The railway located its headquarter at the south end of Whitefish Lake and in 1903, the Whitefish townsite was surveyed and dedicated.

Today, Whitefish is a growing city with easy access to endless outdoor recreation. The city is home to beautiful neighborhoods, a thriving business community, and the world-class Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. Individuals who visit the city will find Whitefish is an ideal place to raise a family, open a business, and vacation.

It is necessary for individuals who live in Whitefish to have easy access to efficient heating systems like heat pumps or furnaces. During the months of December, January, and February, daytime temperature highs average in the low-30s. At night, temperatures will dip well below freezing. In addition to very cool temperatures, snowfall is common during this season as well. Heat pumps help individuals stay warm and dry inside their homes and also protect their residences from potential damages caused by extreme temperatures. Weather patterns vary greatly each season, so efficient heating units help ensure residents are comfortable in their homes at all times. When the extremely cold weather is present in the city, an efficient heating system can literally be a lifesaver.
